• Matt Biller, MA, LMFT, has been providing therapy since 2004.  He holds a master’s degree in counseling from the Assemblies of God Seminary and is in the process of completing his doctorate in psychology.

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Matt firmly believes that the health and condition of a family and the relationships therein are directly related to the strength and quality of the marriage where relationships are grown.  While experienced in working with individuals one on one, he thrives within the dynamics that occur between couples and family members in therapy.

Matt offers specialized training and in-depth skill building for couples in crisis and specifically for those struggling with communication and conflict resolution.  He’s known for helping couples learn proven ways to bring positive change in their relationships, understand how to relate with their spouse, and achieve greater success in their marriage through a respectful and disarming approach.  Matt has walked with numerous couples through the painful and difficult path of reconciliation after severe injuries to their relationships caused by infidelity, verbal abuse, lying, and other forms of broken trust.

While the majority of his clinical work is spent providing therapy for couples, he has also dedicated many hours helping men manage their sexuality and overcome compulsive behaviors and use of pornography.  Other areas of focus are empowering parents with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to raise healthy, balanced children.

Matt enjoys teaching and has instructed both undergraduate and graduate students the core concepts of marriage and relationship therapy and how to navigate people through life’s difficult situations.  In addition, Matt has served as chaplain for the Michigan Department of Corrections where he gained practical insights to encourage healthy individual development and growth.

Matt has been married since 2000 and has two children.  He is an avid cyclist and hopes to compete in his first competitive bike race and triathlon soon.
