Steven Kreitzer, MDiv, MA, LPC has been counseling for 10 years and is passionate about helping people who struggle with issues such as anxiety/depression, obsessive compulsive behavior, phobias, marriage and family issues, addictions, spiritual growth and financial security.
Steven believes there is nothing God cannot redeem. As a former youth pastor, he enjoys working with adolescents and preteens but also has expertise with college-age students and adults. Regardless of age, he loves the process of helping each client learn how to experience the peace, joy, love, and fulfillment God has promised to be available at every moment of life regardless of circumstances. He seeks to accomplish this with his clients through problem solving, a shift in thinking, and by learning healthy ways of being and relating which includes grieving things that cannot be changed in order to arrive at acceptance.
A regular speaker at area churches, Steven addresses such topics as living beyond divorce, the five love languages, healing from anxiety and depression along with a variety of marital issues. He is also certified in Prepare/Enrich, a premarital counseling program.
He has a master’s degree in counseling as well as a master’s of divinity in theology. Steven and his wife, Amie Jo, have been married for more than 10 years and have two children, Beckett and Brielle.
