Sarah Young, MA, LPC
Sarah is a licensed therapist who is passionate about journeying toward healing with clients through a wide variety of challenges and struggles. She enjoys engaging men and women of all ages in the reality of the richness of God’s plan for every moment, and how He flips brokenness for His glory. Sarah holds a master’s degree in counseling and has counseled individuals and couples for over a decade. Sarah has a specific heart for sexual issues and also has experience dealing with a broad range of issues including relational and marital conflicts, depression, anxiety, self-image issues, and addictions.
Sarah holds specialized training in sex therapy from the Institute for Sexual Wholeness. She works with a wide range of intimacy issues, providing services that span from therapy for sexual functioning and medical issues to counseling for sexual addictions, identity issues, abuse recovery, and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, she offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each client’s individual needs in order to help attain the growth they’re striving for. Such a sacred and personal area of life is given intentional care with practical approaches and techniques that have helped countless men and women.
Sarah believes in God’s joy and redemption, and counsels from a perspective of invitation and freedom, shaped by the call to own our stories and live them well against the grand backdrop of the truth of Jesus Christ. She and her husband Lance have been married since 2001, and love living life with their three children.
