Hold Hands

We like to hold hands while we pray. It makes the part where "two shall become one" even more that way, or when a "cord of three strands cannot be broken"-meaning that you have to have God, your spouse, and then yourself together. You have to have all three for your marriage to work.

We like to hold hands when we are out by ourselves without our 3 boys. It makes us feel young, like we are dating again. We get that jittery feeling again! It makes me feel special walking hand in hand, like I am at the top of the world!

When we go out for an evening alone, like we often did before our son was born. Walking up to the restaurant, watching a movie. It makes us feel as if were reconnecting. It's each others hands in the parking lot and not our four year olds!!

During prayer, any prayer. We made a promise to each other that no matter how mad we get, we would always hold hands during prayer. That has never failed until last week. Pray for us.

I love to hold hands when were sitting on the sofa watching T.V. at the end of a long day and I also love to in the car ! It just reminds me of that time when we first held hands and that butterfly feeling in my stomach still get me!

We like to hold hands whenever and where ever we are. It is a sign of our commitment to each other even after 50 years of marriage. We were holding hands in NY City and a woman came up behind us and told us how nice it was to see a couple our age still holding hands.

My Wife loves to holds hands anytime, and it make me feel very special as well. When she's holding my hand she is somewhere special in her heart. I believe this is one of her love languages. Its a beautiful thing.

My husband and I have been married for fifteen years and probably hold hand more now than when we were first married. There's something very special about that simple touch. Our hands will often drift towards each other during church service, prayer time, watching a sunset at the beach, or anytime we are enjoying the comfortable silence of our relationship.

We try to hold hands whenever we go out, but only succeed when there are no kids around (since they want to hold our hands) It makes me feel like I'm still his "girl" and that our love is still strong.

I think the time I enjoy holding my husband's hand the most is when we are in worship service and worshiping together. The act of holding our hands together turned upward to God offering our praise is very special.

After 16 months apart, thanks to a deployment to Iraq and a remote ****ignment to S. Korea, I am thrilled to hold my husband's hand any time! I have only seen him four times since last summer; when I do see him, I can't get enough of hand holding. I try to store it up to last me until our next quick visit. I am proud to hold the hand of a brave member of our military who works so hard and has sacrificed so much for our country and our family!
