Just a Big Kid
Sometimes, husbands are just big kids at heart. They need the same things children need: love, encouragement, and someone to nurse them when they're sick. Don't tell them you're doing it, but love them like a kid...

I love my husband unconditionally, just like I do our kids. My love for him is not based on what he does or doesn't do for me.

I help my husband find his lost items and make sure I don't overload him when he is already done for the day.

When my husband is going through a tough time with something, I'll ask him to give ME some prayer time. Knowing that it pleases him to help me, I'm helping him without him knowing it. In the end, God has always bless the both of us.

I clip his toenails, fingernails and get up with him in the morning to make him breakfast.

I make meals and snacks for him. I go to Dr and dentist with him as encouragement.

When I laugh, tease and pester him like a kid would AND most especially when this results in the ultimate goal of getting him to smile or even laugh himself. A sign that he's relaxing, tension is released and he's happy!

I fix my husbands lunch and coffee every morning, and then I also fix his breakfast. He enjoys bragging to the men that he works with how good of a wife he has because I do these things for him.

I'll take a picture of myself blowing him a kiss and text it to him during the day. He loves it! And if he's having a bad day, he can go back to his phone to see it again.

My husband loves it when I bring him a cup of coffee when he hasn't gotten out of bed. Easy for me because I'm an early riser, so getting the coffee going before he gets out of bed is no chore. Recently, I started giving him a kiss on the cheek when I set the cup down. He stated more than once that his day starts out wonderful with his "coffee with a kiss". =)
