Marissa is a psychotherapist who completed her Master of Clinical Psychology degree at the Michigan School of Psychology. She receives supervision for her licensure by Dr. Forrest, PhD, LP.  Marissa provides bilingual services and has worked with a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds. She has counseled individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relational and family issues, self-harm, suicidality, as well as people who are victims of sexual, physical and emotional abuse or other traumas.  

Marissa offers a safe environment where every client’s story is heard, affirmed and understood. Her expertise is counseling underprivileged youth and families. She considers it an honor to be a part of every person’s journey.  

Marissa currently resides in West Michigan with her husband Tyler and their dog, Atlas. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, yoga, traveling, and exploring new places.
