Who is Alan Seaborn?
Alan Seaborn is committed to helping bring harmony to parent-child relationships. As a grown son of a family-focused speaking father, Alan is uniquely positioned to get the message out. By sharing stories from Scripture and the world around him, Alan shares about the things that are close to God’s heart – our attitudes and the decisions we make – all viewed through the lens of a family relationship. Alan addresses issues like finding common ground, focusing on doing the little things right, and realizing the legacy that we’re creating by the choices we’re making in the here and now.
Born in South Carolina and raised in Michigan, Alan earned his degree in Pastoral Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University. Since then, he has been the speaker at youth camps, weekend retreats, fundraising events, chapels, and corporate events. With experience in a myriad of speaking environments, Alan has had the opportunity to hone his speaking gift to meet people at their point of felt need.
Prior to joining Winning At Home, Inc., Alan served at a church near Detroit as the Pastor of Urban Ministry. During that time, he spent considerable time working with I Am My Brother’s Keeper – a homeless shelter in Detroit – and traveled to Haiti several times to work at the Have Faith Haiti Mission – an orphanage in Port au Prince devoted to the safety, education, health, and spiritual development of Haiti’s impoverished children and orphans. Alan and his wife, Annaliese, currently live in Holland, MI.
