Angie received her bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and her master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Western Michigan University. Angie is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and is qualified to supervise both LLPC’s and LLMFT’s in the state of Michigan. Angie sees counseling as a relational growth process and considers it an honor to walk alongside people when they are hurting and seeking growth and healing. Her expertise is working with pre-marital, marital and dating couples as well as adolescent and adult individuals.
She is passionate about working with couples on relationship issues such as intimacy, communication, infidelity, parenting, family dynamics and life transitions. Angie also loves to help individuals dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, body image, relationships and family concerns.
Angie believes God is the ultimate healer, and through Him, there is infinite hope, even when we feel there is none. She is passionate about building a space filled with authenticity and radical compassion for her clients to feel heard, seen and valued. She believes in treating the whole person through a holistic and systemic lens.
Angie and her husband love spending time with family and friends (especially when playing games), exploring God’s great outdoors, traveling, eating amazing food and, most of all, laughing a lot!
