Kerry Postema, MA, LPC

Kerry is honored to walk with others during difficult times and is passionate about helping them address their concerns, so they can become all God intended them to be.  She strives to create a safe place for her clients to share their stories and do the work necessary to live in freedom, health and wholeness.  She respects her clients, listens carefully to what they say and ultimately, helps them accomplish their treatment goals.

Kerry earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Addictions Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Michigan State University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has provided individual, marriage, crisis and career counseling in college, community mental health and nonprofit settings.  She uses Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused and Marriage Builders techniques to address issues such as depression, anxiety, abuse, grief, stress management, transitions and relationship issues. Her caring, hopeful and practical approach help clients create the positive change they desire.

Kerry and her husband have been blessed with three children.  Together, they enjoy playing games, spending time with family and friends, participating in church activities and exploring God’s creation.
