Jen is committed to helping children, adolescents, adults, and families who are struggling with the effects of trauma and stress. She specializes in working with children and adolescents, guiding them from stabilization through foundational healing. She is passionate to support the whole family through the healing process and often works individually and collaboratively with parents and family groups to overcome barriers to a peaceful home environment. Jen specifically focuses on healing broken attachment, calming trauma responses, and restructuring the interactive patterns between family members. She is uniquely experienced with foster care and adoption.

Jen received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Cornerstone University and her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University. As part of her course work, she interned at Winning at Home and Roots Therapeutic Services. She gained valuable experience working with children and families after spending thirty-three years working for Kids Unlimited in the gymnastics industry. In addition, Jen has experience with foster care and adoption and leads a foster care and adoption ministry with her husband.

Outside of work, Jen loves to spend time with her husband, four children, and two dogs. They love to play games, watch MSU sports, and go on family vacations. She is passionate about her walk with the Lord, having strong family relationships, and loving people intentionally.
