Jenny holds a bachelor’s degree from Hope College and a master’s degree in counselor education from Western Michigan University. Jenny is passionate about working with teens and adults of all ages who desire change and are struggling with difficulties such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image, self-esteem, singleness, and identity issues. In addition, she enjoys assisting individuals who desire to break free from unhealthy relationships with food and body image.

Jenny counts it a privilege to walk with individuals through the transitions of life whether the need is to accept a “new normal” or to “chart a new course”. Utilizing a solution-focused approach, she holds firmly to the belief that God’s grace is sufficient for us to accomplish the growth and maturity that He intends. We can find freedom, peace, and joy when we view our difficulties through that lens.

Jenny spent a number of years in higher education counseling and teaching college students and has a particular interest in helping teens and young adults formulate plans for college and/or careers.

Her favorite activities are reading, watching musicals, and hanging out with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two terrific teenage sons.
