Whitney is passionate about building genuine relationships with her clients as she walks alongside them in their journey toward hope and healing. Throughout the counseling process, Whitney strives to create a compassionate and safe space where clients feel heard and empowered to live more fully into the unique person God created them to be. She is equipped and experienced in working with teens and adults.
Whitney is passionate about helping women and couples who are dealing with sexual pain, intimacy, and relationship issues. She also loves working with individuals who are dealing with issues like depression, anxiety, chronic pain, grief, identity, perfectionism, and life transitions. Whitney’s approach to counseling includes a faith-based, holistic perspective. She seeks to establish a collaborative approach with clients to help them find a deeper level of flourishing and health in their lives and relationships.
She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cornerstone University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. She interned with Winning at Home, counseling adolescents and adults. She also gained valuable experience working with teens and young adults through her previous work in youth ministry and higher education settings.
Outside of work, Whitney and her husband enjoy time with family and friends, playing sports, and being outside enjoying God’s creation. She also loves horseback riding, reading, and good coffee.
